The given table represents the details of first year students admitted during the academic year 2018-2019 in ASD College of Engineering. From the table, it is observed that a total of 634 students are admitted in the ensuing academic year. The strength of boys admitted is more than the strength of girls. It is also noted that the college offers courses in 10 different branches. Of these ten branches, ECE branch has the maximum intake (98) while robotics has the minimum. (21) It is surprising to note that no girl student has opted for the mechanical branch. Aero stands second in the strength of total students admitted. The figure reveals that students are still eager to do aeronautical engineering. It is also observed that ECE branch is the favorite branch for girls.
